Apple gifs not working

My Apple gifs has not been working lately, and not on any of my friends Apple phones either, is something wrong with #images?

Animated GIFs stopped working All of a sudden when I copy and paste an animated GIF from Google to messages on my iPhone 11, they don’t move, only paste as a still picture. Any idea what might have happened?? iOS is up to date. Restart didn’t help..

GIFs It appears out of nowhere when iOS 14.x hit GIFs were no longer saving to the photo album. I don’t get it. Apple had something working perfectly and now - boom, gone. People are talking about it all over the internet. This is another ‘big brother is watching’ thing. Makes me and others nuts. I am on iOS 14.6 and if I see a GIF in safari where I used to be able to save it to photos and it would play, now it’s a still picture. And you can’t seem to get a straight answer anywhere.

Yes, click on then Get Support link at the top right of this page to contact Apple Support and report it. Prior to doing so have you and your friends try turning off WiFi in Control Center and see if it works with cell data.
