"App Data Not Backed Up" in iCloud

For almost the entirety of having this phone (about two years), every time I do a manual iCloud backup, I get a message that data from Calendar is not included and that I can turn on backup for it in the Manage Storage section of iCloud settings. Choosing this option leads me to a page where there is no Calendar option. How do I fix this issue?
