Since upgrading to the M-1 Macbook Pro (OS 12.1), I've noticed that neither Thunderbird nor Firefox are showing up in System Preferences/Notifications. Furthermore, Thunderbird is not integrating with Contacts for the program's Address Book. I suspect this is a bug on the Mozilla end?

Current Monterey is version 12.2.1
Brings several bug and security fixes and maybe related to issue under consideration.
Change General preferences in Mail on Mac and change to Thunderbird
Are any of the two applications listed in " Notifications & Focus" Applet ?
They are not - other programs are (which is why this is curious).
Thanks for the nudge on the Update. Firefox is now there (in the applet), but no change with Thunderbird.
Already was set to that!
From memory and pertains to Windows 10 - somewhere is the TB Setting was a "use System Notifications " .
As to where this can be applied to macOS - I do not know.
Do not use TB on macOS.
Appreciate the thoughts on this. I've used TB on my Mac for many years without this issue. It's frustrating not to see the dock icon reflect any "new" emails.
