Slow photo edit lag

Is anyone else’s iPhone pro max 1tb & latest iOS 15.3.1 slow as ****? Idk but I haven’t even used close to a quarter of my memory; but editing photos is so annoying sometimes. It’s slow lately & lagging ALOT. Including my iPad Pro (esp During split screen. I clean my ram

all the time & occasionally restart my

phone, clear cache all that; still slow. Seriously considering switching to android phone sometimes. Every update doesn’t do much either. With 1tb & full battery & price tag you would think this thing ran smoother, smh. Im editing pics right now & it’s lagging, including me typing on this comment section. This is the case where you don’t get what u pay for smh. I don’t complain much & have been patient dl the updates but simple things like editing photos shouldn’t have to lag.

Hi Neselovekese,

It seems you're having some issues with slow performance and we can help.

Do you have Low Power mode enabled? Make sure to turn that off.

You mentioned this happens when editing pictures, which app is editing pictures?

Try closing the app and restarting your iPhone:

Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone

It’s just the photos app, literally when I’m cropping or editing the pictures it lags. Low powered mode isn’t on. I have cleared ram, and restarted multiple times. It still lags from time to time even with full charge. also on the iPad Pro, things just force close all the time. I’m editing photos now and it’s already happening again. I even adjusted settings a long time ago to help performance in general, like turning off certain apps in the refresh in background all that etc. from YouTuber tips. It’s just apple, not delivering for what you pay for.
