I can't redeem the 3 month arcade free trial

I just got a new iphone, and when I opened the app store, I got the offer for the apple arcade free trial. However, when I tried to accept it, I had trouble with my payment options and had to close the store to resolve it. Now, when I reopen the app store, I do not see the trial offer pop up anymore, even though it still shows it in settings. I've tried updating the ios like the article suggests, but it still won't work. Is there another way for me to get the trial?
