Can I recover an old device? I noticed a big chunk of my iMessages (on my iPhone 13) are gone and I think it is because I recently removed my old device (iPhone xs) from the iCloud, without thinking. There is a specific message that I need to recover. Is there any way I can get this back? I know the person who has my old phone but obviously they use it with their own apple ID now. Could I try logging into the old phone? or is it lost forever? Thanks

Unless you have a backup, it's gone.
