Will Monterey sync with an older Mac running El Capitan?

So I just bought a used iMac as a second Mac for my hobby room, unfortunately it’s a lot older than I was told (was told it’s a 2014 model but turns out it’s only mid 2009). It works fine, but the OS maxes out at El Capitan. I want to be able to sync all of my iCloud data (such as Notes, Calendars, Contacts, Pages, Numbers, Reminders, Bookmarks, Passwords, etc). Will this work without issue? All of my other systems (a modern Mac, iPhone and iPad) are all up to date and sync fine with each other and I don’t want any of my sync data getting screwed up because of the old iMac being placed on my Apple ID/iCloud account.
