Does anyone have any other suggestions on what to do if Move to iOS doesn't work. I get a transfer error after several hours each time. It transfers my contacts, but not my text messages. I am going from Samsung s7 to Iphone X.
I have tried the following: deselecting everything for transfer other than messages and contacts and directly connecting by wifi between phones.

If that hasn't solved it, then we'd want to make sure both devices are up to date. On the new iPhone you can use: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
On your Samsung, are you using any network monitoring apps, like a Wi-Fi Analyzer? If so, you'd want to remove them and try the transfer again.
If that doesn't help, then we'd recommend the following: Move content manually from your Android device to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
You can also try removing all saved Wi-Fi networks on your Samsung, then try again.
Should it persist, then it would be best to connect with Apple Support: Get Support

We are a company. We ask in apple center that we want to switch to iphone. They guarantee us that there is native app for transferring data to iPhone from android devices. As you see there is a ton of complains for the Move ti IOS app that is not working properly. We have try everything we have 9 samsung devises (s20) and 6 Google pixel 6. Please why you dont find a solution, we have 2022 !!! And we cant tranfer data from one phone to another ? Please guide me Is there manual way from windows pc to tranfer to iPhone data ? Before you suggest me Itune, we have tryid this way and there is a big problem the data inside the iphone is not EDITABLE because it is synched ! We want our employes to have the right to edit photos or CAD printscreens. We are not allowed to use cloud solution from the policy of the company. Is there any other way to transfer data ? Can you recoment any other 3rd party app ? Please transfer the question to your engineers that you must make the app Move to Ios to work over cable (usb-c to lightning). It is unacceptable all this. Why you don't pay attension to so many problems that move to ios app have ?
