macbook pro m1 max facetime camera soft, blurry

My facetime camera on the new macbook pro 2022 M1 max is terrible. The image is soft in low light. Is there anyway to turn off the software that is doing this? I rather have a noisy image than one that looks like old vhs tape. For 7 Grand I expect alot more from this pimped out macbook pro. I'm disappointed that apple wouldn't let a user on a "pro" machine make creative decisions about how they want an image to look, especially when the machine is targeted to photographers, editors, etc. who manipulate images professionally.

Hi rodney993,

It appears that you are having camera quality issues with your MacBook Pro. To confirm, does this happen with any app you use the camera in? Also, does this happen in different areas with different lighting?

If you haven't already, you can see if updating to the latest macOS helps:

Let us know if you've already tried updating.

Take care.
