software update 15.3.1 on iPhone 12

My phone automatically updated to 15.3.1 last night now my text messages will not go out (only to android phones) and i cannot pick up calls or make them. I have full bars 5G and a full signal on my Wi-Fi. I do not understand what is going on. Can anyone assist?

Text messages to non-iPhones use SMS and MMS, which are carrier functions, so contact your carrier.
