Time Punch Kiosk

I am setting up a time punch kiosk to have users clock in and out. I do not want to lock the device. I do want to have a screen timeout to save the screen. Once the screen is touched I want the screen to come on again. Any advice?

It’s 2022 in a few days. Can I check if there is a workaround to disable this option? By the way, when my son clicks one more minute, he can use that app for periods much longer than one minute. Sometimes up to 40 minutes. I am not sure how apple times this one minute but there is certainly a bug. It is a stupid option in the first place that defeats the purpose of screen time and down time.

Need an iOS app to timeout or signout user after a certain period of inactivity Hey guys, I've been assigned a project at work to setup some iPad minis as Kiosks. I'm using Meraki MDM to do everything, but I can't seem to get the app that we're going to be using to timeout after a certain period of inactivity. Essentially, we are using an application that requires user to login with their own credentials, but the app doesn't sign them out after a certain period which won't work for us, because the iPad will be setup to be accessed by all employees. So I need it to automatically sign out or refresh the app after a certain period of time of inactivity. Tried Kiosk mode from Meraki and the Guided Access from the Accessibility menu in Settings, but they don't sign out the app. Tried the Screen Time setting also, but this just locks out the app after a certain amount of time has been used. Doesn't help. I'm not even sure if it's possible, but just wanted to reach out here and see if anyone had any ideas, or if I'd just have to reach out to the app developer and see if I'm missing a setting within the app.

These iPad models support Tap to Wake

iPad mini (6th generation)
iPad Air (4th generation)
iPad Pro 11-inch (all generations)
iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and later)

Do not setup Face ID or Touch ID or passcode

Note: It will be easy to lose the iPad without security settings

This ipad pro didn't have the feature, but I appreciate the quick response.
