Google Wifi list (please help)

So, whenever I go to turn on my wifi to my phone from the goole wifi list, it changes to a new name every single time. It also shows many new devices along with it. All of these being unnamed devices I have to try and figure out which one it is. Are there any solutions or any reasons why this might be happening?
