No option to 'add person' on my iphone calendars

Hi, I have followed the instructions to add a person to my iphone calendars. However when I tap 'i' button there is no option on the page to 'add person'. What should I do?

iPhone 11, iOS 15

Hi Nicholas, thanks for your answer and I have read the instructions. However the issue is that when I try to share the calendar there is no option to ‘add person’ (as described in the instructions). Therefore I think there is a problem with either my phone or how iCal is set up, which is why I’m asking for help!

Hello AJCou,

Just to confirm, this is happening with a calendar that was created from iCloud and not from an external source such as Gmail or Outlook.

To check, open the Calendar app on your iPhone. Tap "Calendars" at the bottom. The calendars listed under "iCloud" should have the option to "Add Person" when you tap the "i" to the far right of the calendar listing.

If they do not, then we would suggest that you Contact Apple Support

They will be in the best position to assist from here.

Hello AJCou,

From your post it appears you are trying to add someone to a calendar on your iPhone.

Steps on how to do this can be found here: Share iCloud calendars on iPhone - Apple Support

Keep in mind that this option is only going to be available for iCloud calendars. Calendars created through other sites such as Gmail may not have this option. You would need to check with the developer for information on how to share those calendars.
