My phone is on recovery mode and my computer kept failing to software update within 15 mins. How do i know my Mac continue downloading it?

I want to share this with the apple community because I have been having this problem and it took me awhile to fix it. My iPhone was stuck at the apple screen and after putting it in recovery mode and trying to download the software update from the computer it still wouldn't work.

Well I found a solution. iPhones exit recovery mode after 15 minutes regardless of whether or not the update has been fully downloaded. Many people re-enter recovery mode and try to download the update again, and once again nothing will happen after 15 minutes. This is because you are in a cycle of restarting updates when they are not fully downloaded. What you need to do is: After the 15 minutes is up, quickly re-enter recovery mode. When prompted to either update or restore your phone, select cancel. You will notice that an update is still downloading even though you clicked cancel. This is because even after the iPhone leaves recovery mode after 15 minutes, the computer still continues to download the update. By clicking cancel, you allow the computer to continue to download the update rather than starting a new one that won't finish in the 15 minutes. After the update is done downloading, you will notice your screen has changed to say "preparing update". From there your iPhone will leave recovery mode and show the apple screen with a progress bar under it to show the start of the update.
