I have seen a couple of posts, but not that much. Did you follow the steps in the Related Article? What happened when you did that? Is this just your home wi-fi, or is this any wi-fi network. If you followed all of those steps, the final step there is to contact Apple Support. Use the Get Support link at the top of the page.

No, it isn’t “obviously” Apple iOS; if it was, with half a billion phones updated to that version you would see thousands of posts about it. Unless you want to continue believing that, you should do some basic troubleshooting.

At the top of the list, are you using VPN, or do you have a VPN app and/or VPN profile installed, whether you are using them or not? If you are stop using, delete the profile and the app, and restart your phone (you can add them back later if you really want to have useless software installed on your phone)

Next, have you tried rebooting your router by removing all power from it for 15 seconds or so?

Then Settings/Wi-Fi, tap the i next to the network name and changing the position of the Private Wi-Fi Address switch?

How about Settings/General/Transfer or Reset Phone/Reset/Reset Network Settings?

Please let us know of the results of trying this basic troubleshooting.

After updating the iPad Pro to 15.4, it still looses internet connection after a period of time.  Only way to reconnect is to either power cycle or cycle WiFi off, then on.  Leaving the iPad connected to power also seems to prevent the connection loss problem. Never had a VPN installed, so that is not a fix for this iPad.

Getting the basics out of the way first, when an iPhone is not connected to power Wi-Fi disconnects 30 seconds after the screen locks to save energy. This is normal and expected. However, it should reconnect as soon as you unlock the screen with Touch ID, Face ID or the phone’s passcode. If the phone receives a notification when locked Wi-Fi turns on for a few seconds, to process the notification, then turns off again. This behavior is how all iPhones have worked since the beginning if iPhone time in June, 2007 and is not related to any specific iOS version.

If your phone is not reconnecting to Wi-Fi automatically when you unlock the phone that needs some troubleshooting, but first does the above explain everything that you are observing?

Has anyone else had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi after downloading the latest software update 15.3.1?
