My account is locked with my MacBook

i am locked out of my MacBook Air, forgot the password, but now it’s locked me out of my account! How do I unlock and reset password?

Hi there,

So basically you don't need an unlock, only a password reset

Use these two articles:

If you forgot your Mac login password
And this one if there is no password reset option on the login screen
