Trying to figure out how to get my old Apple ID signed back in on my phone and get the one I have now log out. Can’t seem to figure it out

What happens when you try to log out of the Apple ID you have now? Error message(s)? More information would help.
If you have changed your ID, have you followed the steps in this article? Make sure you turn of Find My Phone before signing out of the existing ID. Once signed out and Find My Phone is off, then sign in with the old ID, then turn Find My Phone back on.
