Was there a Safari Update?

Hello everyone, I have a lot of tabs (100+) where I shop and look at things, and sometimes I’ll open another tab by using the “Look Up” feature - or open a link, while still being on the site I was previously on so I can go back and forth. But I’ve realized whenever I use that feature today, it had gone all the way down to the end so I would have to scroll up to the top see the website I was previously on again. I used to do be able to look at the websites side by side. I’m not sure if I explained this thoroughly. Was wondering if there was some way I can fix this issue?
