Safari - what are these suggestions and how do I remove them?

Hi

I have tried to remove these top suggestions from Safari but to no avail. They have little 'globe' icons next to them - I'm not sure where they are being pulled from? I only have to tap one letter and a bunch of them pop up. Here in the attached image, I have tapped 'H' and have been given three suggestions with globe icons.

I've tried turning off 'Search Engine Suggestions' and 'Safari Suggestions' in system preferences but it doesn't stop this.

Anyone know how to remove these?

I am using iPhone 12 Pro Max with OS 15.2.1

Any help most appreciated.
