Lines all over my screen

when i woke up this morning, my ipod wouldn’t wake up and once it did, there were loaned all over the screen. it can still function but there are light great lines all over the screen

Try resetting the iPod. Learn how to force restart your iPod - Apple Support

If that does not help, you probably have a hardware problem and you will need a repair. See: iPod Repair - Official Apple Support
