Siri not recognizing apple music subscription

I recently subscribed to apple music. It’s been more than a day now and siri is still responding with “You’ll need to update your apple music subscription to allow me to do that for you” whenever I ask her to play any music.

First, try restarting your device. Make sure you are connected to Wifi and Cellular.

If this is still not working, you can try turning off "Ask Siri" in Settings >> Siri & Search. Then re-enable Siri.
