Storm power surge causing iMac startup dialog box "Your computer was restarted because of a problem".

Upon startup of iMac I get the dialog box "Your computer was restarted because of a problem". This happened after a storm caused the power to go out for a brief moment. The last time I experienced this same scenario I was not able to make the dialog box go away until a macOS update came out. The machine works perfectly otherwise. How can I get rid of the dialog box about "Your computer restarted because of a problem"?

iMac 27″, macOS 12.2

The actual error message was "You shut down your computer because of a problem." None of the suggestions above worked.

I went to Finder, Go, Go to folder and typed: /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

I deleted shut down related logs, especially around the date of the storms.

This solved my problem!
