Storm power surge causing iMac startup dialog box "Your computer was restarted because of a problem".

Upon startup of iMac I get the dialog box "Your computer was restarted because of a problem". This happened after a storm caused the power to go out for a brief moment. The last time I experienced this same scenario I was not able to make the dialog box go away until a macOS update came out. The machine works perfectly otherwise. How can I get rid of the dialog box about "Your computer restarted because of a problem"?

iMac 27″, macOS 12.2

1) Reset the SMC, as per > How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

2) Reset the NVRAM, as per > Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

3) Use Safe Mode then a restart, as per > How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Plus if you have frequent power outages, please consider getting a UPS battery backup for your iMac.
