Empty Scan Files
I have been scanning photos on my Epson WF-2540 and saving to a file in Photo. All of a sudden, the file is scanned but empty when I try to save it. Mac OS 12.2.1
iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.2

Ok - I'd try restarting your mac. If that doesn't help:
Try booting in safe mode - does it still happen? Then reboot normally and try again.
Start up your Mac in safe mode – Apple Support (UK)
Safe mode will clear temporary files and caches, and sometimes fixes odd glitches such as this.
Finally look for updated drivers on the epson website.

What happens if you save it to a folder, rather than straight to photos?
I get the same result, a file with no data.
Thanks. The restart worked.
