IPhone 12 Pro email issues

I have an iphone 12 Pro and the software is 15.2.1. On my email, the new ones never have a blue dot beside them showing they are new and therefore I miss any new emails. Is there anything to fix or change in settings? I've compared to my others iphones but can't see any difference. Thank you

iOS 15.2.1 is out-of-date. Update iOS on iPhone - Apple Support, and try again.
