Updates

Should everyone update and install Mac os monterey? In the initial installation it states you may lose word? What if that happens and how do you save your data in word?

1. No. Some people may have older Macs, be using incompatible software, or have other reasons not to upgrade.

2. 32-bit applications won't work in Catalina and newer.

3. You back your documents up, and then either use a newer version of Word or a product such as LibreOffice to open them.
