Mac mail not displaying remote images Catalina

Hi, Mac mail is not displaying remote images. I’m using Catalina so a lot of the privacy settings that are referred to in some of the answers online don’t seem to apply. I know the images are there because if I use a different email clean I can see them. I need to stay with Catalina for various reasons – can anyone tell me how to force it to accept remote images.

Just to be clear in the in mail – preferences viewing tabs the load remote content in messages is ticked – many thanks for any help :-)
