Why won’t new (6th gen) Mini allow my Touch ID to work while holding horizontally?

Touch ID won’t activate while holding device in a horizontal manner! Anyone? Many thx!

Hi there.

Try resetting Touch ID by going to Touch ID settings and turning it off. Then turn it on and set it back up. When it tells you to adjust your grip and use your fingers on multiple angles, switch the orientation of your finger to the position it will be in while the device is in landscape mode.
