How can I recover an accidentally deleted message ?

If your Messages are not sync'd to iCloud then only be restoring an entire phone backup. If that was yesterday then it may be effective to only lose one day's data.

If your messages are sync'd with iCloud (Settings, your name, iCloud, Messages are on) then your mssage cannot be restored.
