MacOS Mojave install does not complete - log errors

I've been trying to install Mojave from a bootable installer thumb drive and after using Option on boot, selecting the partition for Mojave OS to install to, and pressing the continue button in MacOS Utilities, the install process stops and fails to complete. I've tried multiple thumb drives with the same issue.

Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.
