Facebook App - No Internet Connection

Both my Facebook App and Messenger App say No Internet Connection. My is connected to the internet and everything else works. To fix it I deleted the apps and re-downloaded them, i turned off the phone and back on, I downloaded any IOS updates. Still I cannot get into these apps on my phone. My account on the web is fine.

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! We understand Facebook and Facebook Messenger are not working on your iPhone as you're seeing No Internet Connection.


It sounds like you did a great job with the steps you've tried so far. They align with the steps in: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open


Is this happening only while you're connected to a cellular data network? Or, does this happen on Wi-Fi, too? Have you tested other Wi-Fi networks to see if the issue follows?


Are you able to successfully use these two apps on any other devices?
