Cast iPad screen on Samsung smart tv without apple tv

How to connect iPad 9th gen to samsung smart tv model UA55MU7350, apple tv is the only option to cast ?

Assuming it is a smart tv, and it supports airplay then follow these steps:


swipe down from the top right corner of your iPad display, and press screen mirroring. (Which if you’re on iPadOS 15, it should look like this:


the select your tv.


if your tv supports airplay, but it is not showing up on the list of devices, make sure AirPlay is switched on on your tv. The process is different depending on what tv you had.


tip: make sure they’re connected to the same network. And switching both of them to the 5g band will mean less delay. (This is not the same as 5g from a cellphone carrier)

You can also connect the iPad with an HDMI cable and Lightning to HDMI adapter to an HDMI port on your TV. Then choose that HDMI port as the "input" on the TV. That will mirror the iPad screen to your TV screen. This works with any TV with an HDMI port, no airplay or smart features required.
