How can I get Siri to calculate a math question?

how can I get Siri to calculate a math question? I have tried every way I can think of to get Siri to calculate the 3rd side of a triangle with me giving the other 2 sides. Siri just keeps sending me places to learn. I just wanted it done. I have the same problem all the time with other math problems.

How do I turn off Voice Over Text punctuation in latest ios update? Unfortunately I upgraded to ios 16.0 without waiting for public feedback and now I'm having Voice Over Text issues. Whenever using VOT, Siri injects a preposterous amount of punctuation into what I said--commas, periods, question marks, etc. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. For example, whether I take a long pause between 2 words or no pause at all between those same 2 words, Siri will inject a comma between those words and more than half the time it makes no sense to have a comma there. It's at the point where it's faster for me to just type than use VOT, because I have to go back and edit so much punctuation if I use VOT. Is there any way to turn off Siri's wildly excessive punctuaion in VOT completely? Or at least make it less sensitive somehow? I want to keep using VOT but it's not usable with the punctuation issues.

Siri will not speak after installing 16.1 on my iPad Siri will not speak the screen after users install the 16.1 OS update. The screen dims a little bit and then Siri says: "Sorry, There's nothing to read here." This happens with Apple News, Pocket, websites with Safari, etc. With the Brave browser, the screen goes dark just before Siri says "Sorry, There's nothing to read here." The 16.1 OS update is causing whatever is on the screen to appear as invisible to Siri with the new 12.9 inch iPad Pro. None of this was a problem with iPadOS 15.7 on the 11 inch 2021 iPad Pro or with the iPhone 14 Pro Max and 16.0.3 OS. Vision impaired users depend on Siri speaking the screen. A workaround is to get the keyboard to appear. Siri will then speak the screen after an oral prompt. However, this extra step should not be necessary, and it is not always an option. You are asking for trigonometry, probably beyond Siri.
