Cleaning desktop of files
I have many files on my desktop. How do I clear the files from my desktop after enabling Desktop & Documents on icloud? Where should I put all these files without deleting them? Thanks
If you want to keep them locally on your Mac only create a new folder in your Home folder, you can call it "Desktop - Local" or whatever and put the files in that folder. Or you can put them on an external drive if you have one. Then delete off the iCloud Drive.
Otherwise do what ku4hx suggests.
