How to erase old Apple ID of Apple Watch to set up

I reset my apple phone trying to pair it to my Apple Watch but it keeps saying to login with my old Apple ID bc that’s the one I set it up with won’t let me sign into my current Apple ID , I don’t remember the pasword for the other one and I’m having a hard time resetting it , is there a way to make it forget the old Apple ID ?

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
