Icloud and transfer of pictures to my desktop
I have been paying for icloud for over a year but I it seems like my computer is not backing up my pictures. How can I get it to do this?

Verify the current status of your photo sync.
Open photos
Select library
Navigate to the bottom of your library
you'll see your item count and beneath that the current iCloud status.
