• Volume Output: If you Can't Hear a Person on a Call or Voicemail or if the Sound isn't Clear on your iPhone - Apple Support

• Volume Input: if your Microphone isn’t Working or People Can’t Hear you While you’re on a Call -Apple Support

• If Neither is of Success: Contact Apple Support

B. Why the Issue?

• Interference: This is likely an error with interference. So, start here: If your AirPods Pro make crackling or static sounds - Apple Support
• If Used in a Closed Space: Does it sound muffled? If you are using these in a closed room, then echos can come about.
