Apple Watch Rain Forecast shows IN 4D

The watch software updated last night, and now where I have the rain forecast on my watch face it doesn't show any percentage but instead "IN 4D". I don't know what to do to fix this. I tried turning the watch off and back on again, but after it connected to my phone it still shows that.

What does this "IN 4D" mean? I know by tapping on it that there's 0% chance of rain, but I'd rather not have to go searching for that. I like to have the wind, temperature, and rain information right there on my watch face. That's the point of having customizable watch faces, and the "IN 4D" is already annoying because I don't know what it stands for.

I don't know if this is because of the watch being series 4. I do intend to upgrade since it's been annoying me with the activity tracking not being accurate after so much time.

SOLUTION: Enter the Apple Watch App and select your Watch Face. Scroll down the list of "Complications" until you see the location of the precipitation app. Change it from "RAIN" to "CONDITIONS". Now instead of showing the next rain it will show you the current conditions.

I have the same issue. I've been using this complication since July 2021. This morning (Mar 26 2022) I lost the umbrella icon showing the % Probability of Precip and have "IN 4D" instead. I decided to finally update the iPhone O/S to VER 15 and then updated the watch O/S to VER 8.5, and this did not fix the issue. I would rather not use a different complication (in other words, "just stop using the one that's broken") as the solution, meaning Current Conditions does not show the Probability of Precip. I find nothing on the web to indicate why this change has happened, nor can I find a way to revert to the current % Probability of Precip. (versus telling me when it's gonna rain next.)

There are no options for this complication. The preview of the complication in the watch app on my iPhone shows the legacy "umbrella and %" icon, so I don't believe this to be due to an app upgrade. If it is an app upgrade, perhaps the icon will revert to the legacy state (with the current %) on days it's supposed to rain...I just gotta wait 4 days to see if this is what happens.

Hello,

I have this same issue. Yesterday, where the precipitation usually shows on my Apple Watch 6 face was "IN 4D" with a rain cloud icon. Today it shows "IN 3D" with the rain cloud icon. I don't want to know about the rain in 3 or 4 days. I want to know what the sky is today. How do I fix the app to reflect what is actually occurring like it used to be?

Both my phone and watch have the latest software and I have followed the instructions to reset them.
