Camera Inverting our faces to the viewer

How to completely once and for all stop my iphone 13 pro max and my 2020 mac destop camera, during a facetime call, from inverting my face. YES IT DOES. I called myself from my mac and answered on my iphone, and I see that my face is inverted and distorted looking. And vice versa.

Hello kma3,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

If we understand your post correctly, the camera on your Mac as well as your iPhone, is inverting faces to the viewer. We'd like to help!

Let's ensure the settings are how you want them to be in FaceTime on your phone as well as your Mac.

Change FaceTime video settings on iPhone

Change your view of a FaceTime call on Mac
