That appears to be an orphaned data volume from an incorrect reinstall attempt.
Open Disk Utility and select that volume in the disk list.
In the info pane, you will see a Mount Point. If it is mounted to /Volumes and not /System/Volumes/Data, click the Remove Volume button (–).

Thanks Barney, luckily I went to ask first, had it almost formatted. Really had to search, because what you wrote is correct, only the OS has changed again, saw deactivation. Thanks a lot for the tip ;-)
