Apple Pay with a broken side button

Whenever you try the Accessibility route and go down to "Enable Confirm with Switch Control" or "Enable Confirm with AssistiveTouch" guess what its going to ask you to do??

"This one-time enrollment (WHICH REQUIRES DOUBLE-CLICKING) will allow you to use Switch Control to confirm purchases with Apple Pay or any time double-clicking is required going forward"

The only alternatives to replacing the "Double Click" feature with the side button require you to use the side button to set it up.

Its like telling someone "before I hand you the key to this car, I need you to start the car without the key" ... like what?? How does a rule like this even pass through development? How frustrating..

Please fix... I can no longer make any purchases using my iPhone

iPhone 12, iOS 15
