Touch ID got disable too often

Touch ID is block when making a few mistake attempts and i wants the feature removes from my ipad or at least make them accept more attemps, how can i set this. ipad air 4th generation ios 15.1

If you want to turn it off, see the following from Use Touch ID on iPhone and iPad - Apple Support


Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode to manage these settings:

  • Turn Touch ID on or off for Passcode, iTunes & App Store, or Apple Pay.

The number of tries for your fingerprint to be recognised, by TouchID, is not configurable.


TouchID is deliberately designed to fall-back to primary authentication (your device passcode) after a predetermined number of failed attempts. This allows your passcode to be rapidly used if your fingerprint is not readable by the TouchID sensor.
