Notifications

When my mom texts me it does through but it doesn't notify me at all. It notifies me for everyone else but her. I've restarted my phone, checked notifications on settings multiple times, do not disturb isn't on, I can't figure out the problem.

I receive notifications on my locked screen when people send me text messages however when my sister sends text messages from her iphone 8 running iOS 14.4.2 I do not receive any notifications on my locked screen.

Not getting notifications for texts. I’m not getting text notifications whatsoever. It will not make a sound, will not come up on the Lock Screen or anything. I have matched setting for everything to my son’s phone and it still will not work. HELP!

Check her entry in your contacts for a special notification sound that may not work.

Hopefully you and your mom each have your own, unique Apple ID. If not, that should be changed immediately.
