I have an old MacBook Pro I would like to get the photos off of, but I forgot the password. What do I do? Do I need to schedule an in person appointment at my local Apple Store (Orlando, Fl) or can this be dealt with remotely?

Apple will not even begin to assist without "FIRM" proof of ownership of the MacBook Pro. Find your receipt and proof of purchase, but do not be surprised if they say NO.
