Samsung Watch won't pair with iPHone after IOS 14

I am unable to connect my Samsung gear s2 smart watch with iPhone 7 after update to ios 14. The iphone bluetooth connection drops after about 30 seconds, so the Galaxy App can't pair. This is an IOS 14 - 15 problem. I know this because everything worked fine until IOS 14. I also know this because I was able to successfully pair the watch with an old iPhone 6 running IOS 12. It works perfectly, but this is an old iphone - not my primary phone I use every day. I hope this is fixed in a coming IOS update. If Apple sold a watch that was round and looked like a watch, I'd buy it in in a heartbeat. Ugly plastic square? No thanks. And to think they used to be all about style.

Thanks Kurtosis12, but that was the first thing I tried. This started back with 14 and continues to 15.3.1 (I'm currently running 15.3.1).

The problem seems to be that the phone drops the bluetooth connection with the watch after a minute or less. It connects easily and repeatedly...it just doesn't stay connected.

I've factory reset the watch. I've deleted and re-intalled the Samsung Galaxy Watch App. I've 'forgotten' the Bluetooth connection with the watch and let the Galaxy app establish the BT connection per Samsung's recommendation, ...none of that works. But pair it with an old iphone running ios 12 - BINGO! Works like a champ. Deductive reasoning says fix the BT connection with the watch so it stays connected.
