Siri music identification, Music and iTunes Store?

I love having Siri help identify music. Most times, that has resulted in a lot of spending on my part in the iTunes store.

I seem to be having a problem tho, when Siri identifies the song in question, I press on the modal and I'm brought into Apple Music, but I don't even see any other option to purchase the iTune from/through iTunes. Am I missing something?

To get around this, I just take a screenshot of the identified song, then manually search in iTunes -- but it's becoming really time consuming.

Hey Forrest,

We understand after using Siri to locate the name of a song, it opens to Apple Music which doesn't give you the option to purchase it. Siri uses Shazam to identify the song.

After identifying the song, open Shazam, tap the 3 dots next to the song. You should then see the option to "Buy on iTunes". For more information, view section "Buy songs you've Shazamed" here: Use Shazam on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, or Mac.

I have this same problem too! I do not WANT Apple Music! I own (paid $ for) over 25,000 songs, and I like adding to my library. SO FRUSTRATING that I ask Siri to identify a song, and then I have to memorize the name and artist, open iTunes Store manually, type the name in, search through 20 to 30 other songs with the same name, etc., etc.

There should be a SETTING so I can tap on the banner, it automatically takes me to iTunes Store, and I can tap on the BUY button.... PLEASE FIX THIS!
