MacBook screen glitching

So the very bottom of my screen (only like a centimeter) is flickering and it’s also mirroring the top of my screen. If I have my cursor on the very top of my screen you’ll see it in the bottom to. I think the cause of this problem was because when I tried closing my MacBook My Apple Watch which was off my wrist was on the keyboard and the metal part of the bracket pressed on the screen hard when I was closing it. There are no scratches on the screen it’s only a centimeter of the bottom flickering and mirroring the top. Please help.

Hello SamuelE04,

We understand you're experiencing some issues with flickering on your Mac. We'd like to assist.

If you restart your Mac in safe mode does the same thing happen? Safe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software as it starts up, including login items, system extensions not required by macOS, completes a basic check of your startup disk, and clears cache. Test while in safe mode, then restart and see how your Mac responds after this.

How to use safe mode on your Mac

If you're still experiencing the same thing, try resetting the SMC on your Mac: How to reset the SMC of your Mac This will reset the power to various ports and can help refresh the display. Be sure to test after completing these steps.
