When will Apple CarPlay be available for the IPad?
I have a cellular IPad and it’s irritating that it can’t use this functionality to integrate with CarPlay in a car (I don’t have an IPhone).
Seems strange that it won’t just connect. Software and hardware in a cellular IPad must be so similar.

AppleCarPlay is a feature of iOS for iPhone - and is not currently available for iPad or iPod devices. CarPlay functionality principally provides integration of phone functionality with vehicle Infotainment Systems.
