Bookstore not opening

Hi, for a few weeks now I can’t access Apple Books bookstore on my iPad (see pic below). I’ve turned the iPad on and off several times but nothing changes. It’s fine on my iPhone.

Apple Books Skipping Pages Hi Since the last update it seems Apple Books on the iPhone is skipping pages - it jumps ahead a number of pages when you turn the page. I downloaded two new books yesterday and both experienced the same problem (one being the latest Steve Jobs book) - it is also doing the same thing with older books in my library. I have tried restarting the device but the problem continues. I would be grateful for any guidance re how to fix the problem. Regards Bruce

iBooks don’t open books on ipad I can’t open my books or download/buy new ones on iPad mini4 with iOS 13.1.3 I tap on a book and nothing happens and the application freeze. On my iphone the iBooks works well. I tried hard reset, delete the app and download again, sign out - sign in my apple id from icloud, updated the software on my ipad, turn wifi off and on. Do you have any advice what can I do to reach my bought books?

Various things to try

Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch – Apple Support (AU)

Force restart iPad – Apple Support (AU)

Last option would be to delete the app and download again. Doing a backup beforehand is advised if not using Books in iCloud Drive.
