You can download ( https://filesamples.com/formats/caf ) as well as create them.


My guess is a previous owner, or another user, either downloaded them, copied them from another Mac or created them directly.

That would make sense to me if anyone ever had access to my machine. I bought it from Apple directly, it is a refurbished machine it has only solid state storage, which I strongly suspect was cleared out before they shipped it to me. This is not a really important question obviously but I was just curious how they wound up on my machine. Were they part of a demonstration package Ford garage band, are they the audio track something else that I download (I find that very suspect). My guess is that it will forever remain one of the mysteries of the universe. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
