I’m locked out of 2 of my accounts because I don’t understand how to get a picture of me and the front of my license. I just don’t get it! Who’s taking the picture? Me or them? And how do I allow access to my camera?

I’m locked out of 2 accounts because I don’t know how to “verify my identity” on my iPhone! Who’s taking pictures of what? How do I show “them” my face and license. I’m so CONFUSED! Now I’m locked out!

It’s impossible to reach a live, English-Speaking rep! I’ve called and called and called. All I get are these Emails telling me I need to verify by providing copies of my license and “…a picture of me holding up a piece of paper with the date!” I DONT KNOW HIW TO DO THIS! Last time, all I got was “we’re unable to see your face…” After that. I’m blocked and told that because I didn’t do this or that and now, I can’t update my phone number! And what is this camera in the left hand corner of this message? The first company was “Affirm” but now “Klarna” has me blocked too! And I haven’t even tried yet to update my phone with them! I also use Afterpay and I haven’t even had the strength to try THAT one! I’m sure Im blocked THERE too!

I KNOW it’s not my new iPhone! I just don’t know how to USE it for this particular task. The Verizon store that I purchased it from more or less “refused” to help me with the new features. Rather, they gave me the Bum’s Rush, told me I could do it all myself and that it was “EASY” instead of showing me how to USE the new features and the differences between the 8 and 12. The rep simply dumped me and went on to the next victim. (I’ve had an iPhone 2,4,8 and now 12). I realize now I should have purchased the phone at an APPLE store! These carriers and their retail employees are simply there for commissions. I’ve had it happen with each iPhone I’ve purchased but customer service AFTER the purchase has gone from bad to worse.


Usually, I can figure out how to do something, but not this time. That’s why I reached out this way.
